A Partial Monday Report

I didn’t take photos of my figure drawing stuff this morning. Now there isn’t enough light to do it. I figure we all can go a week without them.

Here is some of what I worked on in painting class Monday morning.

This one still has a way to go. This next one is getting pretty close to finished. I’m just tweaking stuff at this point. I think I am going to have this one professionally scanned when it is completed so that I can make prints of her. I’ve gotten some leads on places to do scanning. No leads at all on anyone who photographs artwork.

and the painting that I made for the long pose. I was really happy with this one. It is the furthest I have gotten in trying to paint a model in one session. Someone in the class suggested last time that I start out putting the paint on thicker sooner – so that is what I did this time. I liked it. I will have to play with it some more.
