Weekend Update
yeah, I know.
But for me the weekend ends on Monday – so Tuesdays are my Monday. It makes sense to me. It doesn’t have to make any sense at all to anyone else!
Sunday was a special treat for me. Not only did I not have to work but we drove to Toronto to see Cirque du Soleil perform Totem. It was a really good time. I have never seen them perform live. Actually truth be told, up until fairly recently I had absolutely no idea what they were. I’m glad that I was introduced to it and super glad that I was able to see this show. We had great seats and even the teenager really enjoyed herself (yes, it IS actually possible to entertain a teenager…. who knew?).
Monday was mostly playing catch up for chores and stuff and things that need to be taken care of at home – but I did manage to make it back to figure drawing class Monday night. I think I may have found medium that I like to work with and hopefully now I can just concentrate on getting better with the drawings (and quicker). I am thinking about taking one of the regular classes there as well in the fall since they have one on Mondays during the day… but not sure I can commit to being there every week yet. I’ll have to keep thinking about it.
So anyhow, here are yesterday’s sketches.
I have a fun project planned for tomorrow. Randy from Silverback Ink sent me a sample of the new XXX Black to try out. I have a fun project to try it out with and send Randy the fresh and healed photos and report back as to what I think of the black.

I’ll be going to see Cirque on Saturday. I go every time they have a show in Toronto. Maybe next time we’ll carpool!
