Got some stuff done…
This past weekend. I was well on my way to having my second in a row week of having two whole days off for the weekend and was pretty damn excited about the prospect.
Fate had other things in store for me (as Fate so often does) so my weekend art projects were interrupted. I did manage to finish the last couple touches on the bunny painting.

as always there are things that I would do differently if I was doing this now – but that’s the point. They are all learning experiences. If one of them ever came out perfectly I wouldn’t have a reason to keep painting.
I also revisited the bird in hand painting that I started when I first bought the oil paints and only had a couple of colors. I changed the tone on it considerably, but not much else. Didn’t realize how much glare was on this photo until I looked at it on the computer.
I don’t know if this one is finished or not yet. I haven’t signed it yet, but I have been looking at it since Sunday and nothing has jumped out at me so I think I will just sign it and move on.
Monday found me seriously tied up – but I was able to break away for a couple hours to make it to figure drawing class.
Yeah, that's the cat helping me photograph again.
So back to work and have some cool projects coming up over the next couple of weeks. If I can get some decent photos perhaps I will post them up here.
