Today’s Lesson in Tattoo Stencils
Apparently if I draw up the line work for an entire backpiece on tracing paper using a Col-erase black pencil and then try to make a stencil from it, it doesn’t work. The stencil machine will pick up nothing. Even when I tired to photocopy it first the stencil came up mysteriously blank.
Lesson learned.
Unfortunately this means that I then had to send home my appointment with no ink actually on her skin. On the bright side, she loved the drawing and was very understanding about the whole thing.
